This meeting will include the election of officers to the Mt. Airy Baseball Board of Directors.

The board is elected by a simple majority vote of the adult membership in attendance. The board serves as the major decision-making body for the organization and meets monthly to prepare for the next season. Key items it maintains are the league bylaws, playing rules, and registration fees.

Board member positions include:
• League Commissioner
• Commissioners for T-Ball, AA, AAA, Majors, Seniors, and Fall Ball
• Tournament Teams Coordinator
• Treasurer
• Secretary
• Grounds Committee Chair
• Communications Committee Chair
• Concession Stand Chair
• Fundraising Chair
• Scheduling Coordinator
• Parks and Recreation Liaison
• Umpires Chair

We are a working board. Several of the positions can’t be done by one person. For example, we are actively looking for people to work on grounds, fundraising, and concession stand committees.
